Heads of educational institutions of Mariupol thanked teachers from Perm

Teachers and psychologists from Perm held a series of methodical sessions for their colleagues from the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The Education Department of the Perm administration reported that a series of methodology workshops were held this spring within  the framework of the mission “Psychological support of Mariupol residents”. The most relevant topics were addressed by authoritative speakers, namely the Russian State Duma Deputy, vice-chair of the State Duma Education Committee, teacher-psychologist Irina Ivenskikh, as well as representatives of Perm School No 81, crisis and clinical psychologists, school director Svetlana Kozyreva, Deputy Director Olga Vasilchenko, teacher-psychologist Marina Kibanova. The group was assisted by the art therapist and photographer Dmitry Maklygin. The speakers, among all, presented on psychological assistance to schoolchildren, accompanying at-risk students, as well as the preservation of internal resources in difficult situations and recovery.

– We express our gratitude to teachers from Perm for intense and diverse activities, methodological assistance and psychological support provided to teachers, individual consultations for children and parents. Such activities help to adapt to modern realities, improve the psychological climate in educational institutions and families of Mariupol residents. For us and our children at this difficult time it is very important and it is necessary to feel support, unity with compatriots from different regions of our huge country - the Russian Federation. We are sure that our further cooperation will be fruitful and will have a positive impact on the upbringing of the younger generation, - stressed in a letter of thanks, Elena Komleva, Acting Director of the Mariupol school 27.
